In an effort to support safe, natural and effective methods to enhance sports performance, Zone Labs Inc. has formed a partnership with Team Slipstream/Chipolte, America's new, rising cycling team with the most aggressive anti-doping program in the professional sports world.
Zone Labs will provide its patented EicoPro EPA/DHA Fish Oil Concentrate and Polyphenol products to each rider on the team.
The world of professional cycling has been wracked by constant drug scandals. Why? The drugs work to give cyclists an unfair performance advantage that increases their likelihood of victory. But can improved athletic performance be obtained without the use of illegal drugs? Yes, this is exactly what Team Slipstream/Chipolte will demonstrate.
Slipstream has partnered with the Agency for Cycling Ethics (ACE) to lead the sport of cycling with the most rigorous anti-doping program ever. Each rider on the team will be tested once every 7-10 days during 2008. This is more than 20 times the number of tests that most professional cyclists are required to take.
Team Slipstream plans to make its mark in cycling. They have attracted new talent with the recent additions of Magnus Backstedt (2007 National Cycling Champion of Sweden) and Christian VandeVelde (two-time Tour de France competitor), both of whom are adherents of the Zone Diet and the use of EicoPro.
In the past four Olympics, Dr. Sears has personally worked with athletes who have won 24 Gold Medals using the Zone Diet to orchestrate their hormones to give them a competitive advantage. Dr. Sears will now be working with Team Slipstream to help give them the same, natural competitive advantage in the world of professional cycling.

Team Slipstream/Chipotle will compete in a full slate of international races this year. In late January, they came within two seconds of winning the first time trials at the Tour of Qatar on the team's journey to earn a bid to the Tour de France in their first season as a team. From February 19-26 riders will compete in the AMGEN Tour of California.
