More Anti-Inflammatory Potential

EicoRx starts with the same great, ultra-pure omega-3 EPA/DHA concentrate used in OmegaRx with the addition of gamma linolenic acid (GLA). In the right amount, GLA helps to enhance the body’s innate anti-inflammatory responses while also helping to slow the aging process. EicoRx has patented natural agents from sesame concentrates that help inhibit the production of arachadonic acid (AA) as well as adding anti-oxidant capacity to protect the EPA and DHA from oxidation.

The elite athlete's unfair advantage

EicoPro has the maximum amount of gamma linolenic acid (GLA) of any Zone Labs product to generate higher levels DGLA (dihomo-gamma linolenic acid) than EicoRx. GLA converts to DGLA (dihomo-gamma linolenic acid) which is the building block of "good" anti-inflammatory eicosanoid hormones. However, it is also the building block of Arachadonic Acid which converts to "bad" pro-inflammatory eicosanoids.
