A Typical Day

ZoneFast™ meals are easy to prepare, even when you are in a hurry! Using Mediterranean vegetables as your base, you can use your culinary imagination, along with our recipe collection, to make an infinite number of meals that will leave you satisfied for up to 6 hours after eating.

ZoneFast™ Breakfast

Start your day with one of the ZoneFast™ breakfast items, such as a Zone roll, bagel, granola, or toast.

Each Zone Food ingredient used for breakfast contains the same amount of protein as you would have by eating a four egg-white omelet. For optimal taste results, put your Zone Bread or Zone Bagel in the microwave for about 15 seconds or toast it lightly. It's a convenient, portable breakfast that will keep you satisfied for 4 to 6 hours.

ZoneFast™ Lunch

Whether at work or at home, the ZoneFast™ program provides you with a variety of fulfilling options to fit even the busiest of schedules.

You can make a sandwich using two pieces of the Zone Bread or a Sandwich Roll. For example, you can add one ounce of low-fat protein (like chicken), lettuce and some tomato slices or two tablespoons of hummus and fresh spinach. Another alternative is to pack two slices of the Zone Bread or a Zone Sandwich Roll with you to take to work or school. When you order a typical sandwich, replace the bread of that sandwich with the Zone Bread or Sandwich Roll.

ZoneFast™ Dinner

Our Zone Pizza and Pastas serve as a perfect foundation for a nearly endless array of dinner options.

Simply boil water and add one package of the Zone Pasta (fusilli or orzo) and then simmer for 10 minutes. Drain the pasta, and it's ready to eat. The Zone Orzo can be used as a rice replacement, which further expands your ZoneFast™ meal options. Adding additional items from the Grocery Guide will make your Zone Pasta or Rice dish a gourmet delight. The Zone Pizza is the foundation for making a greater variety of healthy pizza using a little tomato sauce, some low-fat cheese, and vegetables. Then bake it at 500°F for about seven minutes. Each serving of Zone Pasta or Pizza contains the same amount of protein as a four-ounce steak.

ZoneFast™ Snack

If you plan to go more than five hours between meals, consider having one or two of the Zone Cookies, Granola, or Nougat Bars as a snack. You can put the cookies in the microwave for approximately 10-15 seconds for that fresh-out-of-the-oven taste.
