Does anyone know which migth be the reason why I wake up everynight about 2 am because I need to eat something.. I crave for food this late.. even if a had a proper dinner .. however Im not usually hungry after my zone big breakfast until lunch hour, but I still eat my snack as indicated.. so, what can I do to stop this late cravings ? sometimes I can't tell if I'm really hungry or just crave for sweet or anything... My zone advisor told me to eat 14 blocks, since I'm a triathetle and do intensive workout 6 times per week ( 3 hours per day aprox.). Im a women 5 3" , 123 lbs. fat percentage 16.5% , is this ok ?? My coach told me that I need to loose 5 to 6 pounds, but So far, I weight pretty much the same..... I think something is wrong with mymeal planning ..

I am not an expert on the bodyfat and athletic aspects, so can't help you there. But, I wonder what you are eating later in the day and your meal timing? You said 14 blocks, but I would like to know what kinds of meals you are eating, especially your dinner and bedtime snack... I suspect you probably need additional monounsaturated fat. But first, are you eating a one block Zone balanced bedtime snack? If not, do so, and it may eliminate your symptoms. If you are already, or if not and you try the snack but continue to wake up in the middle of the night with hunger, it could mean you're not eating enough total blocks during the day. If this is the case, try adding one more block to your day for a total of 15 blocks. If you do all the above, but still have the symptom, you probably also need additional monounsaturated fat to meet your energy needs because of your intense training schedule. In this case you would double, triple, or increase by whatever amount you find necessary, the amount of fat you eat with each meal and snack. I4 or 15 blocks is appropriate for you because of yoru intense training schedule. I would not recommend going below 15% body fat.[/color:b51b117e6c]
