Though, usually, Consumer Reports is right on, most of the time;
they fell into the same trap, in their latest issue (June 2005) - as everyone else.
They labeled the ZONE as a high-protein diet. |

I read it today. Even though we believe that the Zone is not high protein, if you compare it to the other diets they reviewed, it is at the top of the calories from protein list --right next to Atkins. I can't argue with their logic. The article rated the Zone in a favorable light for nutrition. However, I would not call the article an in depth look at any of the diets. |
