Hi! Good to hear from you again!
I recently got lucky, as Woodman's had one of those "bargain carts" with whey protein powder (vanilla and chocolate) for only $3.79 a can, but I don't know where it came from because I haven't seen it in that form there before. It is tasty stuff.
I think they may have some in the Health food isle, on the checkout lane end on the produce side near the top. There is a line of protein powders there that are in bags, sort of like coffee bags. They are pretty pricey at $15.00 a bag (I haven't tried them!) . They are fairly near the Atkins stuff.
You could also check at Whole Foods. I know that they have them, but they are also more expensive than the soy protein powder.
Perhaps GNC would--they have a store in Market Square on Odana, and I think they may now have a store in West Towne mall.
I should've grabbed a can of the bargain stuff for you! If I remember, I'll ask Woodman's to carry that brand--great price, good product.
Did you get my email? The thing I was going to send is an itemized grocery list for Woodman's (all Zone-friendly) that I did on the computer in an Excel file. I print it out, and circle the things we need to get. It's in the order that I travel through the store so it makes it pretty easy. Let me know if you want a copy--we're leaving one on the fridge and circling when we run low on things. Works slick!
Have a great Friday! (T.G.I!!!!)
