Hello, Just a quick question for the experts. I am wondering why 11 blocks a day is a must for all adults, as my calculations have me requiring around 8 blocks. Will changing my daily regiment to a 11 block day still allow me to lose body fat? I have been sticking to a 9 block day regiment since I started on the zone just shy of three weeks ago. Thank you in advance for your knowledge and advice. Sincerely, Crystal.

Dr.Sears is THE expert and he has clearly said to stick to a minimum of 11 blocks minimum per day. He is speaking to an audiance of millions so he needs to give guidelines that will be for the masses... Some may tell you going lower than 11 is ok, Dr.Sears says otherwise. My advice is to try it. Try 11 blocks a day as precisely as possible and measure weekly or bi-weekly to see what is happening to your BF% and LBM. Also, do the eicosanoid status report. With these three tools, you will know soon enough where [i:b4845cd3e9]your[/i:b4845cd3e9] zone is. Pat P.S. Sue is absolutely correct in telling you that getting enough micronutrients is also a concern to keep in mind and a very valid reason to stick to 11.
