[quote:ec850f3e44="infrared"]I've heard grapeseed oil is so healthful and better for, say, stir frying, but when I got it home I noticed that it said it was polyunsaturated. It was a good brand...maybe Spectrum..I forgot...is it good or not? jane[/quote:ec850f3e44]
Hi Jane,
I found the following on this site:

Today's question
"Grape seed oil & extract"
Dear Dr. Sears,
Dear Dr. Sears, I was reading a book a couple of years ago and they stated that grape seed oil was very good for a person, so I have been using it since. I see that on one of the health reports that grape seed extract is a very good thing, would that be the same as the grapeseed oil? Also I have been taking a Lecithin capsule every day and wondered if that would be o.k. I have inherited heart trouble and have had a angioplasty in October 1988 and have had no problem since, but reading your book I figured that I would try the Zone and have found it very good for me, thank you for your concern, and sharing your knowledge with everyone. Dear Greta H.,
Dear Greta: Grape seed extract would be rich in phytochemicals. Given the choice of the two, I would suggest the grape seed extract. However, unless you are following the basic Sears Diet (lots of fruits and vegetables, adequate levels of protein, and supplementation with high-dose fish oil), then any support will be very limited in its impact.
