hey all... newbie here... i've been zoning it up since january 3rd, and it's been going well... i'm feeling pretty good so far, and have even managed to drop a few pounds... i typically eat about 12 blocks a day, (3x 3 block meals, 3x 1 block snacks) and try to eat them roughly at the same time every day, 'cause i'm pretty sure i read that's what is recommended... here's my question though, i've just recently started a new job that involves shift work... i mostly work afternoons and evenings, but i'll have one overnight shift a week (12am - 10am)... and i'm just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on meal timing... now in the past when i've worked these kinds of shifts, i found a schedule that worked for me... essentially, once a week i'll have a day where i'm awake for 26 hours, have a 3 hour nap, stay awake for 8 hours, then back to bed... like this: 11pm - 8am: sleep around 8 pm: 1/2 hour nap 12am - 10am: work 11am - 2pm: nap/sleep 10pm - 7am sleep now that i'm trying to eat in the zone, i'm wondering how i should time my meals within this 48 hour period... for the rest of the week i can pretty much keep my meals consistent... but i assume i should try to eat at least once every 5 hours during my night shift... anyone out there have any thoughts on this or experience doing shift work while doing the zone? thanks in advance! trish
