    On the Advice of my DR I am starting this program. But Iam confused here. The book I have says you should only do 45 min of walking 6 days a week or 6 hours . My Doc says I should only do 20 minutes a day and make sure my heart rate is over 100 for those 20 minutes. What sounds more right. Can any one help me? Thanks bonbon

    Well, good for your Doctor!!!! :D And welcome to the forums. There is a ton of information here, and some really good people willing to help. Did your doctor limit you to 20 mins, or as is usually the case, is that the minimum you should try to get. Obviously, if he limited you then stay there. But if that's a [i:abc352d406]minimum[/i:abc352d406] you should strive for, then 45 is not contraindicated.

    fatboyslim I had asked my doc on what amount of time should I exercise he said lets do 20 min a day and keep your heart rate over 100.
