recently i've been experiencing a sore throat. i was wondering if anyone knows how to count egg drop soup ( made in a chinese takeout restuarant), i'm not sure how many eggs they used... well i'm not sure about the ingredients either... is there a way to figure out such things??

You can see the amount of egg in it, which would count as protein. The rest of the soup may or may not be composed of Zone-friendly ingredients.

sometimes you can figure out what's in a restaurant item by looking up the recipe online.

In my college days, I worked in an "Americanized" Chinese restaurant. Although I am far-removed from that experience, I believe that the main ingredients were chicken broth, eggs, and a thickener-like cornstarch (we used cornstarch where I worked). There was also a yellow food coloring added, to give it that "egg-yellow" appearance.
