what would cornstarch be considered??
very small amounts of carb--2g
and is this unfavorable ( thinking it is just by it's name--CORNSTARCH

However, 2 g per meal is no big deal ...
(Though Zone/Paleo avoid corn/corn products).

There are some zone recipes that actually INCLUDE a small amount of cornstarch! Usually used as a thickener, and I generally omit this step, but really if it is only 2g of carb, then this should be no big deal. |

Here's a good website for you. You can look up anything. http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts...sta/5697/2 it says 1 oz of cornstarch has 26g of carbs and 0g of fiber. So, 1 oz is 3 carb blocks. 1 oz of a fine powder like cornstarch is probably about 6 level TBS, so 2 TBS would be 1 block. |
