I have questions. I used the online calculation tools for % of body fat and my numbers were 31% body fat, daily protein requirement of 77, and then it says 11 blocks protein, 11 carbs, and 11 fat blocks per day. This doesn't seem right. I am looking to lose 10 pounds, I'm 5'4 I'm 140 pounds, not very active, and very confused at the moment. Has the Zone diet changed at all?
My friend said 11 blocks in total for the day. 3, 3, 1, 3, 1. My understanding is that there are equal blocks of PCF at each meal as well? Is that true.
So for the sake of ease a balanced meal for me at dinner might be:
3oz chicken breast
3 cups Broccolli
3 Whole Almonds
Also, how do I figure out blocks in food from the label? I am thinking Fat free Greek Yogurt, I live on it.
