    Hi everyone! When you count the carbs do you substract the dietary fiber? Or count it too?

    You subtract the fiber - always.
    Why? Because Fiber is non-insulin producing.

    Normally, you subtract it.

    A long time ago, a zone rep told me not to bother subtracting it unless it was 5g or more. I assume its because less than 5g does not have a significant impact on the block size.

    Thank you guys. Just want to make sure: if a product I.e. is : 25 grams of carbs, but it says that 10grams of the 25 is dietary fiber , So I should
    Count it as 15 grams of carbs right? (-::
