Our eldest daughter (third child) isn't really a kid; however, this seemed the best place to post!
She is in college and away at school in Chicago.
(She went back early this summer, working at the school, and staying with a friend.)
So, she calls me last night and asks, "So what is this block, thing?"
She told me that since she has been back to Chicago she had noticed that she was feeling much better,
her skin was better, and she had more energy - all when she was eating at home with us.
And, since she has been back .... !
So, she wanted to know more about it (the "block" thing), so she could do it for herself.
Of course being stuck on the college meal plan has its challenges, as well as being lactose intolerant,
but nothing she couldn't work around ... And I told her about 1-2-3 and also gave her this website address.
    Anyway, just wanted to share/post.

Really cool stuff, John! So, should we expect to see her posting in the forums soon? LOL!

My kids have commented on how they feel when they eat "my" food as opposed to dad's cooking. As much as they complain that I am "forcing" them to eat healthy, they do admit that it is better than eating pancakes for dinner... my DH was temporarily cooking dinners when I was laid up last month, and so the kids were eating more things that I would never even consider purchasing.

Last night, as DH arrived home, he had apparently stopped at the grocery store and had bags of stuff full of packages and boxes. I asked him if he bought any veggies... he didn't answer LOL! It is really a situation in which he WANTS to eat better, but he just does not have the skillset to whip up a good zone meal, so he tends to lean towards processed food, which I tend NOT to buy.

Somewhere in this, will find a good balance.

    Very cool John,
I have a 7th grade daughter and it's only now that I'm slowly learning this stuff myself and letting her know about fish oils, omega -3 fish oils . blah ..blah... blah...So, she is very excited now that I told her that fish oils would make her smarter.. LOL.
So, we ordered online - this fish oil gummy fish. She will not swallow any big fish oil capsules. So, the fish oil came tonight and she ate 2 of them and kept smiling. I guess she's waiting to talk with me some intelligent topics. LOL. Oh well. We're in Michigan BTW and it's snowing outside. Happy New year everyone! :)

Happy New Year to you! (just a bit late in catching up on posts). Lower or Upper MI? I am in Wisconsin, so I am your neighbor!
