Sarah, deep breath and try to relax a bit. There, that's better. :-) Basically you are repeated getting the same info here. Just give it a little time. |

Sarah; YES, generally, Probiotics, given all else is normal and healthy and no other health issues, they help withboth either constipation or too loose stools. BUT, you have other issues. Deep breaths, relax,. No action is necessarily immediate. And we are not doctors. Sometimes you need to seek expert medical advice. |

Thanks to all of you ... It was such a bad time, that I went into overdrive. It's hard for me to find the balance between doing too little and too much. But I'm settling for the zone diet and zone fish oil, since I'm far more familiar with it even though I still don't know everything about it (this despite reading 6 of his books!!!). The main reason--I feel okay-ish, I'm still much better than I was. So I can now afford to take the time. I'm letting go of the probiotics until I see my naturopathic doctor. By the way. Has anyone ever tried DGL and how does it feel for you? Alexy |

That's better! (side note, my hubby thinks I am going into overdrive over my dog bite issue, not the physical part anymore but rather the bureaucracy surrounding it...so I can definitely relate to how one can easily go into overdrive on issues!) Back to my previous message, you could google search for foods that have probiotic, mostly you will find yogurt, kefir, fermented veggies (like sauerkraut). I have never taken probiotics prior to my dog bite, and so this was a new experience for me. My doctor thought that maybe I was getting too much, hence the constipation. Don't know what DGL is... And, I really like how you stated that you are feeling ok-ish on the zone. Maybe not perfect, but just think what the alternative is, and then maybe you will see it even brighter. I certainly do!

Hi to EVERYONE, I just wanted to say, thanks again for what you said. To Cranberrycat: Yeah, it's a trial and error to find the right balance. I didn't do enough and I got sick. I get sick and I do too much. LOL. I do have sauerkraut, LOL. For the next several days, I'm completely off probiotics though. I had ONE hour of sleep last night ... I'm ok but tired on several different fronts, the doing too much front, the sleep front, etc., so I'll sign off for now and talk later ... Alexy |
