I have been eating alot of fiber one bars lately and was wondering if you find them zone friendly. I have to say, I have not been so regular in along time. Thanks.

1 block Fat, 2 blocks netCarbs, only 2 g Protein.
    They are not even balanced.
Let alone no hormonal control with the included carbs.
They do have 9 grams Fiber.
As Tech said, that alone is helping with regularity.

Maureen, fiber is about the only good thing going for these bars. Otherwise, they are unbalanced and unfavorable, too much carb and not enough protein and fat.

I am not aware of any favorable zone bar that has a good amount of fiber in it, unfortunately.

I forgot to mention that I eat the fiber one bars with 2% greek yogurt. Does that balance things? Thanks.

    Hi Maureen,

Being in the Zone is about more than calculating grams of protein, carbohydrate and fat on paper. The types of ingredients begin consumed also make a difference. The bars you mentioned are not a Zone favorable food.

Maureen, even adding greek yogurt, I believe that there is still too much carb there. In addition, the carb in those bars is not from a favorable source. Take a look a the label, and you will see.

Since you are already eating the yogurt, how about adding some fresh fruit to it, instead of adding the bar? If you are concerned about fiber, you can add some fiber preparations to the yogurt, it mixes right in and you will never notice it. Plus, there is the fiber from the fruit, that is generally a good source of fiber.
