I have los weight too and my cheekbones have deflated so i'm left with not lines but frown shadows arounf my mouth. So I' interetsed in learning more about fillers and which one might be best for me.

Here's recent pragraph written on fillers

"Another way to treat this is to use fillers such as Radiesse, Restylane, or Juvaderm. Basically they act as "bulk" to fill certain areas and soften the lines. Results are temporary, 6 months to 12 months max. Repeated treatments may induce collagen formation and may create more permanent results over time. Price can be anywhere $500 to several thousand depending on the amount of product used."

Perhaps I'd be better off using botox

"Botox is used for wrinkles and lines a"ssociated with facial expression, like "crows feet", frown lines, or forehead lines. Again, this is temporary- 3 to 4 months. Expect $200 to $300 per area."

Do fillers and botox look fake? Please advice. Thanks.

I have no idea, Maureen. Personally, I would not do any of this. I don't even color my hair!

    Hi Maureen,

much depends on your age and skin. A serious specialist can give proper advice. By the way be careful with botox. I have seen disasters like fixed expressions or irregular features.I have personally had filler done on my lnes along the mouth (the two sides) and it worked fantastically. Nobody has ever noticed and it is still lasting after 8 months. My doctor used Restylane. It s important to use a good product. If you don't know the doctor ask him to show it. That's not painful, but sometimes it is and they use an anesthesia like the onne of the desntist. I know for sure that filler can be used for cheekbones, the lines on the forehead but I don't remember if they can do for the lines of the eyes. Anyway, maybe the first time the filler dosent't last for long, but the doctor told me that, as you do it, it will last more.
I went to a famous one and she, in euro, asked around 300. It is the price of one dosis.

p.s. I can do ialuronic acid, but I can't dye my hair for serious allergia! I must use henna...

    Hope I've been useful
