Hi Sue or anyone else, If I am taking Dr. Sears Maqui pills, is taking his CQ10 pills too much antioxidants? What I mean is, should I take one or the other or does it make sense to take both and if so, why? Thanks a ton!!!! |

COQ10 is not so much an anti-oxidant - I think both together are not a duplication. |

Hi Ali, The delphinidins found in the maqui berry are powerful anti-inflammatories. It makes sense to me to take both products. In fact I take both Zone Cardio Support and Zone Polyphenols XT. |

Thanks for the reply everyone. How come Dr. Sears doesn't take the Cardio Support? |

One gov't agency recommended 5,000 ORAC antioxidant units a day tops. Exceeding that could compromise your immune system supposedly. But you needn't really buy fancy antioxidants since mnay of the herbs we use, and cocoa, are extremely high in antioxidants. If you are eating a mostly plant-based or seafood/plant-based diet, you don't need a cardio-type supplement. Maybe that's why Sears doesn't take it. He wrote the Soy Zone, which was my favorite and how I eat, so he doesn't NEED any 'cardio' supplement. |
