12 zone blocks

    Hello,
    I am new to the forum, but not to the Zone. I have been on and off for the last 2 years, and have to admit, I feel best when I Zone. I am also Paleo since a couple of months, don't feel good eating grains.
    So, I did an Ironman on Crossfit + Crossfit Endurance training, am training for another one, mostly 4 days Crossfit, 2 swims, 2 bikes, 2 runs per week. On the weekends Time Trials, sometimes a little bit longer stuff.I train with a coach, who told me to eat 12 blocks, according to the Crossfit journal (medium build, 12, very muscular 13). Like tomorrow, I have a 3 hour bike, I added a block carb,fat at breakfast and lunch, but only today. I find myself sometimes starving, and then end up eating way too much, because I am too hungry.
    I would like to lose some more bodyfat over the next couple of months, between 18 and 20%.

    My stats now, height 5.8, lean body mass 121 lbs, body fat 22%, I have this tested every once in a while. And I am 40 years old.

    My question is, am I eating enough? How do I feel better, while still leaning out?

    I ment my body fat goal is between 18 and 20%, depence on what my best performance will be!
    And I use 4 OmegaRX pills a day, Sea Health Plus, Zone Endurance, Zone multi, and bone support. Yes, I am a real Zoner. Just not feeling great yet.

    You're not eating enough. Your activity level for the purpose of calculationg daily protein /block requirements is active, leaning toward very active, which puts you in the 14 -16 block reange daily (14 for active, 16 for very active). Try at least 14 or 15 blocks. (Track your LBM with the Zone Body Fat Calculator found in the Tools Tab here. If LBM decreases you'd add another block of P, C and F daily. Once you're at your appropriate protein /block requirement daily, if you find you're lacking energy for workouts increase the amonut of monounsaturated fat you add to meals andsnacks. Some athletes in the Zone consume well over 50% of daily calories from fat.

    I will try as of today 13 Carb, 14 Protein, 16 Fat.

    Another question about Fish oils. Right now I use 4 pills Omega RX, is it maybe smart to start using more, because of the stress I am putting on my body?
