My daugther weigths 174 pounds and is 5.33 feets tall. With her lean mass formula I get 6 daily protein blocks. Isnt it a mistake? It seems to me not enough meal. For example I figured 13 blocks for me.In 5 meals I need to distribute for her (1.5) / (1.5) / (1) / (1.5) / (1)
Can anyone give me an advise?

This does not sound correct. Did you input all measurements and include level of activity. The lowest it should go is 11 blocks. 77G of protein. Did you use the Calculater on our web site?

Does not seem right to me, either.

Did you use the bodyfat calculator on this site? You might want to call customer support to get some help with this. If she is an adult, then she should be getting 11 blocks per day. If she is a child, I would recommend consulting zone support for some guidance.

Good to know, she is an adult, and the stats are helpful. I plugged the stats into the bodyfat calculator and she should be taking a minimum of 11 blocks per day.

If you would like to re-check the stats now and later, here is the link to the calculator: http://www.zonediet.com/tools/body-...calculator

    Hope this helps!

    Julio,

After the books containing the tables of factors were written, Dr. Sears set a minimum of 11 blocks for adults. If your book calculation results in less than 11 blocks, you should defer to the 11 block minimum. Hope this info helps. I was 42 when I lost 100 pounds with the Zone . That was about 17 years ago. I have not gained the weigh back and I feel great. Best wishes to your daughter! :)
