Desiree: There could be many reasons for dry skin, i.e., dry air from winter weather or heating systems, soap, long hot showers/baths, applying lotions to dry skin (should be damp), medications, clothing, silent inflammation, change in diet, etc. Dr. Sears suggests that for general good health supplement with 2.5g/d of the long chain omega 3’s EPA and DHA.
