    Hi tech person,

I downloaded the Silent Inflammation form from the Resources webpage, but I can't save it to desk after answering the questions.

What can I do to be able to save it to desktop?

I just opened it.. It opened in word.. I filled in some information and saved to my file. You can also print these forms and fill in by hand. A good suggestion is to print and place in your food journal binder.

If this does not work.. Give us a call and we can walk you through it. 800-404-8171

    hi tech support,

when you said it worked for you, i went back, tried all over again, and tried different ways of saving it.

the option that worked for me was to "Save As." The other options (e.g., "Save") didn't work.

thanks, though, for looking into this.

finally i have my file. yah!!!

You just have to keep in mind that not everyone thinks like IT.

    Thanks, tech person :-)

I normally just hit CTRL-S and then save the webpage that way, but it didn't work for this one, but, manually choosing "Save As" worked!

Hi Cranberrycat thanks for the giggle.

    LOL!

Had to comment because I had just ended my work day discussing stuff with a person in IT. Maybe its different elsewhere, but it seems like the people in our IT department have forgotten to think like human beings! No "human" logic. So, when I saw that message, it just hit me!

Generally and typically CTRL + S is used within an open document to save it.
Not the preferred or primary method when saving an un-=opened document, especially from a website.
The preferred method for saving files within a web browser has always been Right-Click "save As".
or (Save Link As - depending on browser's wording).
It is the nature of HTML a subset of XML coding.
XML has been around for a long time.
Years and years and (too many) years ago, before the internet,
I used a very powerful main frame Client Server document/book publishing software - and its base was XML coding.
LOONG before Microsoft and MSWord, and even before Word Perfect - which was one of the best keyboard driven shortcut document publishing on the then newly available personal computers.
Before the mouse, which effectively killed off Word Perfect as a great document/book publishing software.
And the web / web pages are a combination of HTML code and Java / Java Script.
NOTE: I am NOT a programmer.
I have just been writing training material for large industrial scale Enterprise software systems for many, many (way too) many years.
    (Since 1984...) Reminiscing of George Orwell's 1984 ..... anyone?
