I know this has been covered alot, but there are always new readers and old readers developing new favorites. I have noticed that 2 string chees sticks and one apple, and a couple nuts, are a great, satisfying, easy and long-lasting snack for me. I also LOVE Greek yogurt, the extra carb blocks made up of blueberries, and slivered almonds added. Add cinnamon and vanilla extract, and sometimes a little honey. This is what my mouth is now interpreting as a 'sweet treat'. I do very well with milk products. Of course, love a big salad made up of packaged spring baby lettuce mix with all kinds of raw vegies, maybe some cottage cheese thrown in, or sardines, or salmon or chicken. And/or cheese. You get to chew ALOT with that meal and are filled at the end of it and it is just so good. I love hummus, but tend to eat too much of it at a time. |
