Hi All, I just started CrossFit a couple of weeks ago and the trainers at my gym highly advise the Zone diet as a way to ensure we are properly fueling our bodies. They also suggest that we have something to eat before our early morning workouts. I have generally not been much of an eater before working out. Can anyone recommend a small Zone acceptable snack that I can have before my workout? (I already get up pretty early to workout so getting up early enough to have my full breakfast and digest it enough before working out is not really that feasible.) Also, to add a little complexity to the mix, I'm a pescatarian (so I eat dairy and fish, but no meat). Thanks! |
