    This is my wife's near infamous Chili recipe, has won small local awards in small local contests.
    .
    5 lbs grass-fed lean ground beef
    3 organic onions
    2 large organic green peppers
    1 lb organic red beans
    2 cans organic black beans
    6 cups (2 boxes) POM brand strained tomatoes
    Spices as desired
    .
    Notes: Ingredients do not have to be organic or grass-fed meat.
    However, grass-fed beef has the desired, natural Omega-3/6 ratio
    vs. reversed unhealthy Oomega-3/6 ratio in traditional grain-fed beef.
    (Let alone hormone filled/fed beef.)
    .
    Variation: 5 lbs (organic, hormone free) turkey or chicken (left-overs from Thanksgiving...?)
    .
    Lightly brown meat (if raw).
    Lightly fry onions, peppers and garlic if used.
    Mix all ingredients together.
    Simmer for several hours.
    .
    Total:
    Fat = 60 blocks, Carbs = 53 blocks, Protein = 95 blocks
    .
    1 serving = 2 full ladles =- ~1 cup:
    Fat = 2.5 blocks, Carbs = 2.0 blocks, Protein = 4.0 blocks.
    .
    Sides:
    Add your 2 blocks each of your choice of Fat and Carbs salad/veggies.
