Good Evening. I had posted a thread about Menu Planning and Shopping Lists, and wished that this site had the Zone Classic Recipes, and ZoneFast Recipes all set up, so that we could easily make menu's, based on our family makeup (gender/number of people and it calculates the blocks for the recipes) and grocery shopping lists; and then I actually found a site that is an interactive Zone Diet menu planner: formulazone Would you please create something similar for this site, so that we can use the recipes in the books, online, and with the Zone Fast products as well? Thank you. |

The ZONE books have good recipes; Zone Meals in seconds, latest and many have recommended. And an older, Zone Meals in Minutes, and others. |

This is something we had another party doing for us a while back. We have no immediate plans to implement it at this time. |

I typically count blocks for breakfast, lunch and snacks. For dinner - I allow some flexibility and use eye-hand method. Generally I follow the simple rule when Zonyfing my dinners - use chicken/turkey breast roasted or baked, no sauce (or a little bit of it), roasted or dry fried zucchini/pepper/red onion/aubergine instead of potato/fries/rice/pasta, lots of green leaves to fill the rest of my plate. It looks pretty, colourfull and delicious. I usually allow 1 1/2 C blocks worth of berries/plums/peaches/apricots etc for desert or a square of dark 70% chocolate |

Regarding Ayesha's request and Techie's response... Maybe there is an app out there somewhere that allows for this feature, by entering recipes and creating a shopping list... might have to do some searching around, but I bet it is out there! Of course, it would likely not have zone recipes, or maybe one would have to input their own personal recipes, but I think it is definitely do-able. |
