As I recall, after I posted some 1-2-3 recipes in the Recipe forum here a few weeks ago a majority of people avidly requested the 1-2-3 recipes be in a separate forum. Zone Labs listened and quickly responded by creating two new and separate forums for Classic and 1-2-3 Recipes. Looks like it’s come full circle since some fourm members who originally wanted the recipes segregated now seem to be bent on discussing and dissecting Classic recipes in the 1-2-3 forums (re "Macaroni" and Tuna thread in 1-2-3 Recipes forum). Wonders never cease!

Honestly, I believe that the orignal responder was probably just comparing one recipe to another and didn't realize that he/she was committing a breech of forum rules. I know that I jumped into the conversation, but I generally don't even pay attention to the forum that I am posting to, when I am replying to a post. I didn't realize that there was a specific forum rule regarding how to organize post replies. I guess I will have to read the forum rules again.

I am really sorry about that, and I hope you continue to honor this, as well!

BTW, Sue, you may correct me if I am wrong, and maybe this is just a matter of semantics, but the request was for 2 separate forums, in order to make it easier for zoners to find classic zone recipes and 1-2-3 recipes. If one person intends on posting a classic zone recipe in the 1-2-3 forum, I don't really see a problem with that, other than the fact that most classic zoners will not be able to find the recipe, because it would be buried in the wrong forum.

But, if it really matters to you, then hopefully your post here will lead everyone in the right direction. Maybe, if zoners want to post alterations, we could post the alteration in the correct forum, but be sure to give credit to the orignal poster of the recipe.

    Cheers!

My comment is simply a comment, an observation, no more, no less, and not meant to offend anyone.

It seems like a strange comment/observation to make if you didn't have a point to make. What exactly was your point?

My goodness, lol! My point, I thought it was funny that people who wanted 1-2-3 recipes to be separated in their own forum and/or designated 1-2-3 in the thread subject line were discussing Classic recipes in a 1-2-3 thread. Originally I had put 3 laughing emoticons at the end of my first post in this thread, but I deleted them thinking people may misunderstand (laughing = I thought it was funny).

    Sue,
If I had thought that your post was "funny" then maybe I would have been laughing myself! If that is your intention, then that is fine.

I may not be in a position to be objective about this, but just try reading your initial post... it didn't seem funny to me, it seemed strange, especially following the post/comment on your recipe.

Not trying to be judgemental here, but maybe the smileys would have been a good suggestion!
