Hi, I'm new to the zone and have already lost 25 lb. since May of this year.
I have a question about waist measurement: If I measure around my navel i measure 42". But I can fit 40" pants around my navel.
Which measurement is correct?
Thanks!
Sue

jethro, use the measurement you get with the measuring tape. To get the best result measure several times and use the average of the 3. Pants measurements vary by brand and style and the also have something refered to as "ease" built into the fit. Size 40 pants does not necessarily measure 40" around.
