    Hello All,

I've been purchasing the zone products all along and eating the dinner items as ONE SERVING as the packet has read. It seemed like a lot but what did I know? Now I'm seeing that the items have been repackaged in single size portions. What????? I would have split all the ones I've been buying into two if I had known that was what I was supposed to be doing. But that would have meant less orders for zone and less profit. I'm pissed! And maybe realizing that's why I haven't been losing weight eating double the calories for dinner.

    I want a credit!

    Hi Kelley,

If you're the average female and have been following the sample menu plan that comes in the box with your Zone food delivery, then you have not been eating more than you need. If you had been splitting the pizza and pasta packages, then you would have had to add another Zone food item, or a balanced 2 block Zone snack to your day somewhere to assure you had all the protein you require. If you feel an entire package of the dinner selections makes too large a meal for you to eat at one sitting, it's fine to split it in half and add another meal/snack as I just mentioned. That happens to be the way I do it. A Zone coach who can help tailor your menu to fit your specific needs can be reached by calling the number of the top of this page. This is a free service. Good luck!

I know how you feel, Kelley--I have often felt that the bars should be smaller "snack-sized" servings. I always found it to be quite difficult to only eat 1/2 bar. I think they did do that for awhile, but I don't know if they still do it anymore.

I agree. It would be good to have individual snack sized servings. Maybe an indent in the bar so that it can be snapped in two (for sharing) or two separate snack pieces per package.

Kelley - We want you to know that we take your feedback seriously. You(we heard from a lot of clients)asked for more variety with our recipe selection that will accompany your Zone Foods package. You’ll notice that on a few items like the fusilli, orzo, and pizza crust that we’ve changed the composition to promote consistency throughout the products and that each of these foods now provides approximately 200 calories and 14grams of Zone protein. This way a larger variety of foods can be added to the 14g protein products. Moving forward we realized it makes more sense to offer the products this way in a diet program.

OK, I am confused now. I am getting the autoship zone food and choose 7 breakfast, 7 lunch, 7 dinner and 7 snacks. My orzo says it is 1 serving for the entire package. Am I missing something too. I eat the whole thing as it states "servings per container 1" Having the orzo for dinner tonight as soon as I figure out how long to cook it. Instructions/Cooking times on the pasta packages would be helpful.

    Thanks,

We are in the process of changing all the packaging to contain 7F/14P/21C as a single serving. This way there can be more of a variety added to your Zone Foods meals. Plus all the products will be interchangeable

7F/30P/39C This what we the fusilli label has stated, we are changing it to 2 servings again so more foods can be added to the meal without to much worry of having to many calories. If you want to eat the whole package utilizing the grocery additions that is fine. The protein in the Zone Foods is what makes the food unique.

The more Zone Protein a meal contains, the greater the appetite suppression between meals. If a meal doesn’t contain a minimum of 14 grams of Zone Protein, then it becomes very difficult to keep hunger under control.

That's actually a great idea! though i (we) can not afford the Zone foods very often, occasionally they come in handy. BUT, i always wanted to add some real (tasty) food to the zone products, esp. some real Protein food. Now, it will be easier to do so.

I may have to go back to buying zone bagels. My oldest daughter has been asking for bagels on a regular basis, and I cringe each time I buy them! However, at the rate that she eats them, I know that this is quite an expense! And, the rest of the family is not likely to treat them as "meals". More like snacks, and they will be gone before I know it.
