If you'd like to post more info about what you've been eating and doing, I'll be happy to take a look. It sounds like you’re off to a good start. It's common to lose quickly in the first week of the diet as your insulin lowers into the range of the Zone. The quick loss is usually due to the loss of retained fluid form you previous way of eating. It's also common from some people to feel a bit weakened during the first couple weeks of the diet because as the body begins to burn stored fat there can be an initial release of AA (arachidonic acid, a fat that causes inflammation, also referred to by Dr. Sears as "toxic fat"). If this is what you're experiencing, temporarily increasing your Omega Rx dose will dilute the excess AA and help you feel better sooner. Good luck!
