Hi -- we're seeing the author's actual first and last name on forum posts when we are not logged into the site. If we are logged into the site, we see the author's screen name instead. Further, even when logged in, when we reply to a message, we see the author's actual first and last name in the "Posted By" field. Please correct this asap, as this is a privacy issue. For now, I have gone into the my ZoneDiet.com account information and changed my last name to "2714" (the extension of my screen name). Thank you, Laurie |

Hi Tech -- it seems that the correction applies only to new posts. Prior posts are still showing the author's actual first and last name. |

I think we're good now ... I'm not seeing last names at all (when both logged in and not logged in). Cran, I'm seeing "cranberrycat" for most of your posts, but occassionally a "Jenny" on the main Forum index page under "Last Post by". Thanks, Tech, for responding so quickly! Laurie |

I had to change my profile name to cranberry (which is what I think I did on the old forum). I just wonder why it took 5 months to get the forums back up and running, only to find issues... after all that time, I would have thought that all of the wrinkles would be ironed out! |

I'm not able to change my display name, only my real first and last name. |

I think a good enhancement would be to have the ability to designate a Forum display name in our profile. |

Privacy issues are sensitive. Privacy is the ability of an individual or group to seclude themselves or information about themselves and thereby reveal themselves selectively. The boundaries and content of what is considered private differ among cultures and individuals, but share basic common themes. Privacy is sometimes related to anonymity, the wish to remain unnoticed or unidentified in the public realm. |
