Hi all!

So we're back :) . I've missed checking in, and the motivation and support from the group. I'd like to resume the weekly threads, where we share as much or as little as we would like to, regarding our status and progress.

I personally liked the "Accountability" thread title, because this is a place where we are honest and true to ourselves, as well as to the others in the group. It's a place free of judgement, but with plenty of honesty and support.

I'd love to hear from newbies and long-timers -- how are you all doing?

Hi, Laurie! I am doing great!

Missed chatting with all of you, had an interesting few months (on the personal side, not related to the Zone). We lost my step-mom to cancer last month, and I had some surgery for an ovarian cyst (benign!), quick and easy recovery.

We had a biggest loser contest at work during the winter, and I lost 9 pounds (not the winner). I was happy to be successful, even if I didn't win.

Now with summer on its way, we have a few "move it to lose it" challenges going on at work. First, we are participating in a bike challenge, and the more miles we put on will qualify us for cool prizes. Then, beginning in June, we will be doing a pedometer challenge.

Hi! I like the Accountability title too! I'm doing great. I'm at my daughter's at the moment, enjoying spending some time with my little grandsons. Glad you'll be keeping up the weekly thread. Thanks Laurie!

Thanks, Sue. She fought a good battle. My dad is learning to adjust. My worry is that she was a huge support for his dieting efforts, so I hope that I can continue to help him along his journey.
