I have a snack per my alternative health doctor of fat free Greek yogurt, blueberries, cinnamon and flax seed. I use about 1/2 cup of yogurt, 1/2 a cup of blueberries, a teaspoon of cinnamon and 1 tablespoon of flax seed, measured before I grind it. It seems like the flax seed would work as an oil and the yogurt and blueberries would make up the P and C of a block.
I'm learning blocks slowly as I am eating my meals with the eyeball method of low fat protein on 1/3 of my plate and favorable veggies on the other 2/3. Sometimes I add a few grapes or a few slices of orange as well. So I'm saying that my knowledge of blocks is really minimal yet and I'm wondering about my snack being balanced?
