    Hi,
I have already discovered the red cabbage. I think this is the name because it is dark red. I can't find the nutritional facts in the Italian version of Toxic Fat.  Today I had 170 grams with olive oil ad balsamic vinagre. It should correspond to half a block, according to the value for the white cabbage. Do you eat it? If so, how much? Is that I am not able to count the amount of food without weighting it. I still use te scale a lot.
If anyone can help, thank you a lot.
    bye

    From: http://www.formulazone.com/Help.asp...kup=Lookup

    Cabbage, Red:
    100 grams
    Calories: 27
Fat:  .3 grams, .1 blocks, negligible
    Carbs: 4.8 grams, .5 blocks
Protein: 1.4 grams, though not countable

SO, one-half block of Carbohydrates for every 100 grams by weight.

You might have mis-understood you can have as much as you want!
    .
I was not stating that you can only have 100 grams!
    .
I was saying that for every 100 grams of Red-Cabbage you are getting 1/2 block of carbohydrates.
    .
What that means is that if you want 2 blocks of Red-Cabbage you would need to eat 400 grams.
I was not saying the limit is 1/2 block only that for every 100 grams you are getting 1/2 block.
    .
Sorry for US English language confusion.

you are kidding! It's MY English that is leaking. Anyway I checked in a site called www.inran.it that gives nutritional fact and it is the official one of the National Nutrition Institute and I saw that one block corresponds to 526 grams. A lot. But in this way, as I weight everything, I can choose to eat, for example, 1/4 of block.
    Thanks a lot
