So CNN just posted that Weight Watchers is revamping their point system to 'reward' more nutritional foods over others as well as fiber content. This is hysterical. Every time that a story about dieting and nutrition hits the internet it is almost always something that the Zone Diet already considers. The below link on WW is just the most recent. But there have been plenty of others, such as good fats vs. bad fats, glycemic index, etc. Sometimes it sure appears that the Zone Diet does not get enough recognition. http://pagingdrgupta.blogs.cnn.com/.../?hpt=Sbin

Agreed - my understanding of the Zone Diet prior to researching it was that it was a Hollywood diet that Jennifer Anisten followed (among others) and that it meant she ate chicken salad every day for lunch. It's interesting that it was because I read an article in Women's World magazine that had Dr. Oz in it talking about the different diet types and this was one of them. He advocated the Zone Diet so I researched it. I'm so glad I did!
