    Good morning!

Here's our new weekly thread -- I've put a reminder in last week's for everyone to jump over here.

    Have a good day!

    Hi, Laurie!

We are celebrating my son's birthday today.  It has been an ongoing party all weekend, with his friends sleeping over Friday night, the family over on Saturday, and then some shopping (so he could spend his birthday money) on Sunday.

So, after today, I think we will all be "partied out"!

Just back from 2 weeks vacation with family. And for several weeks before that, I had "fallen off the wagon" due to being so busy with life. When I'm busy, the first thing to go is healthy eating. I choose crappy food to make myself feel better, and because it's quick and easy. I'm up about 10 lbs.

So, yesterday was my first full day back in the Zone. I know I feel better when I'm eating better, but sometimes it's just so darn hard. It feels like constant "work".

On top of that, I caught a cold on the way home and I'm suffering with the AA release headaches. So, at the moment, eating healthy isn't giving me the immediate payback I could use.

But I'm here, and committed to eating well for a good, long life.

Glad to have you back, Xee!  I know what you mean, it is really so much more easy to fall into those bad habits, because crappy food is so plentiful and easy to prepare.  Sometimes it does take a bit more work to eat healthy.

I am sure you know how I feel about Zone 1-2-3 foods, but if they have worked for you in the past, it might not be a bad option for you to ease  your way back into the swing of things.

Keep in touch, I think that is important, has helped me through the rough spots in the past!
