I was looking into these bars and the ratios are way off on some of those. for example, the Iced Oatmeal Raisin Bar has 15(P), 26(C), 6(F). How is it Zone if it's one whole carb block extra?

Javier, only insulin stimulating carbohydrate is considered for Zone balancing. Fiber does not stimulate insulin and must be subtracted from the total carbohydrate on the label when determining Zone balance.

I have a question for Tech:
Since i am on a business trip with per Diem, I was finally able to afford some of the new Zone Foods Nuegat bars (as well as some other Zone Foods to eat during this trip.)
And fortunatley they are no where near as SICKENINGLY sweet as the Zone Foods cookies, I tried on last year's business trip.
.
BUT, what is the real difference between the Nuegat Bars and the Zone Nutrition Bars?
I have a variety pack of both for this business trip.
If they are both Hormonally controlled insulin response - Zone balanced.
then what is the REAL difference between them?
.
Except one is baked fresh and even more expensive and the other made months ahead of time?
What is the REAL difference in terms of affects on body chemistry/processes?

Hi John, I'm not tech support, but the answer is that the nougat bars are baked using the molecular baking technology. This allows more protein to reach the place in the intestines when PYY is stimulated, which provides better appetite control. It's comparable to what takes place in a person who has had gastric bypass surgery. One is able to eat less while maintaining excellent satiety.

John, typo, worry! I meant to type: where the release of PYY is stimulated...

PYY signals satiety to the brain.
