I joined CrossFit about 3 weeks ago and want to get in the zone for weightloss. I am supposed to do 11 blocks a day. My problem is Veggies and Seafood are a no go for me. I need help figuring out meal plans. Also it almost seems impossible to do a 2 block meal..thats only 3g fat 14 protein and 18 carbs which im finding it hard to stick with only 3 grams of fat. I need examples please. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I need all the help i can get!

A 2 block meal is a total of 6 grams of fat!
    Most protein contains some fat,
so Dr. Sears set a block of fat as 1/2 of a serving -
allowing that there is some fat in your Protein source.

    John,
Thank for the reply. I thought one block of fat was 1.5? Which would be a total of 3 in a 2 block meal? Maybe i have this wrong...

YES, one block of Fat is 1.5g -- BUT that is because DR. Sears allowed for an additional 1.5 g of Fat in lo-fat Favorable Protein sources.  For each 7 g pf P and 9 g of C you need 3 g of F or 2 blocks of F.  I know it seems confusing.

Just count a total of 3 grams fat & 9 grams of Net Carbs for each 7 grams of Protein.
OR just use the plate method, visual, as described on this website.  You do not have to be exact.  A little more fat is OK.  And there is actually a range of carbs (.6 to 1) that balances with Protein - so no need to fret so much about being exact.
