    Hello

Starting this thread to track my first Week of trying to be in the Zone. After receiving some great help here on the diet plan now is the time to implement it.

    Thanks
    Raja

    Day 01: 6:00 AM :
For the first time so early in the morning trying to down a Smoothie made from Soy Milk, Almonds, Cardamom & ½ tsp Ghee 2 Blocks

    EDIT 1:
9:00 AM: Soya idli (Steamed from batter made from Soya Beans, Lentils & Flax seeds soaked overnight) with tomato & mint chutney. 2 Blocks

    EDIT 2:
11:30 AM: Snack as per plan 1 block
1:30 PM: Lunch as per plan 4 blocks
5:30 PM: Pre WO also as per plan 2 block . . .

I am already feeling overfull, i am sure the portions are right do I reduce the blocks on meals or adjust the meal timing to further space them out? Am I over eating?

    EDIT 3:
9:00 PM: Dinner, had a lighter than planned one around 1.5 block . . .

Closing the day with around 12 blocks, which for now feels high to me.

Maybe have to readjust few things but will put it off for few more days. Tomorrow Will try to continue with the same plan.

    Thanks

I know I commented on this before, but looks like good timing between meals, that should lend itself towards good insulin control.

Thanks Cranberrycat for your feedback and continued support.

Day 2 went off good, all meals on time, but still feeling a bit over full.

The meal timing are suitable so no tinkering wth that. Today I may just try with reducing 1 block over the day.

I am not used to the early morning snack/drink, and lots of soya/products added to the diet, which is also new

    Thanks

    Hello

The week went by smoothly without any cheat days or even a cheat meal. Maybe all the meals were not perfectly balanced but over all I would call it a success.

    Now about the results . . .

It definitely delivered its promised weight loss of about a pound. I have lost something between 1/2 to 1 KG and waist size also has reduced by just a fraction of an inch . . .

No big numbers, but been just a week. What has surprised me is the feeling of satiation and almost absence of cravings. This makes it easier to stick to the diet.

After this first full week of trying to be in the zone, I have committed to continue it for a Month. I would review everything only after completion of a month. No climbing on the scales till then

Now as the meal timings and all is in place, in this week I would like to focus more on the P-C-F balance of the meals.

With the festival season of Diwali coming up, its going to be very tough for me to stay in the zone, so wish me luck

    Thanks
