I am interested in trying out some of the Zone products sold on this website (the breakfast cereal, the granola, the protein powder, the bars) but what is stopping me are the very high shipping charges. No matter what I put in my shopping cart is seems like the shipping charges always run anywhere between 20 and 50% of the cost of the products! Now, in my opinion, that is just outrageous. Couldn't shipping be just a fixed charge? For example, let's say a flat rate of $7. I am sure that will bring more customers to the website. Why would anyone want to pay $11.29 shipping charge for products that cost $18.14 (auto ship for one box of cereal and one package of protein powder)? That just does not make any sense whatsoever. I refuse to buy the Zone products until this website starts to charge some more reasonable shipping charges.

    Subtotal:    $18.14

Estimated Domestic Shipping and Sales Tax*
    Shipping: (FedEx Express Saver) $11.29
    Tax: $0.00
    Total: $29.43

I agree with you, those shipping costs are very high.

I would also suggest that if one purchases at least $50 in product, that perhaps ZoneLabs could consider waiving the shipping fees altogether.  I think they did that once as a promotion, but would be nice to see it offered all the time.

Lots of websites do free shipping for over a stated amount per order, like $50 or like 1800PetMeds at over $39 for free shipping!

I manage shipping by consolidating via the autoship discount program. Monthly, I receive my Polyphenol Plus, Sea Heath, cereal and Multivitamin on one shipment, which comes from a warehouse. Foodstuffs are sent out from the bakery directly and I have shipments weekly there too. Everything express saver saves money too. My best advise is to get a shipment game plan together and lump it up and sign up for the autoship option first. If you don't want it ultimately, you can cancel before the next shipment, but if you do want it again, then the discount really offsets the shipping
