    HI all;
    .
Despite one person repeatedly saying here that it was easy to manage Auto-Ship by simply calling, in my opinion it is still much easier to be able to manage Auto-Ship via the ordering website.  AND despite it supposedly being easy to get tracking numbers, one has to call, then Zone has to look up order, then they have to find the tracking number, and then they have to tell us the tracking number, then we have to write it down, then we have to go to the appropriate website (FED-EX usually), and then we have to type in the tracking number, and we finally get the results.
    .
With most internet ordering, the tracking number is sent with the confirmation e-mail, and most browsers, by right-clicking will automatically take you to the website with the tracking number populated, and often also with the results displayed - all with either one or two mouse clicks from the sent e-mail.
    .
I don';t know how the current Zone method can be defended by some as being easier or simple.
    .
BUT, in talking with a rep, this morning, after writing down my tracking number, and canceling my Auto-Ship- I asked these questions.  Apparently a lot of it was the limitation of their website.
    .
And after many complaints and suggestions by customers, they have finally decided to move to adding both of these features with a new web site that is in the works.  I didn't ask for a time-line.  It will apparently allow customers to manage Auto-Ship on-line and also provide the additional (currently lacking) other web supported and automated features.
    .
Glad to see they (Zone) recognize it as needed and are working to provide it, despite some who say its not a problem, its easy, just call.   It will be much welcomed and appreciated.

Huh?  So you need a tracking number in order to cancel an autoship?

I was making some changes to one of my autoships recently, and I didn't have the tracking order for the shipment, nor did I receive a "confirmation number" of the phone call to cancel the autoship.

So, I wonder if it really was canceled?  Well, will see!

Glad to see that they are modernizing their processes!

All I did was email and ask them to cancel my autoship. Received a reply the day after saying it was done.

I wish there was a way to check your account online here. Check order status, what you've previously ordered, what is on the way, when the next autoship will be, online changes to the items in your autoship, as well as the tracking number of the shipment. While it may be "easy" to call the toll free number, I feel more confident being able to see my account details. I'm not a "we'll wait and see what happens" kinda gal! If they've messed up and didn't make the changes asked, then the onus is on me to check, catch it, call again, convince them of their error and have them reverse it.

Glad to hear they are updating. Thanks for the info, John!

Xee, you are lucky you were able to email and get yours canceled. I have tried that in the past, only to be told that I had to call in the cancellation. I know what you mean by not being a "wait and see", I don't like that position, either. I did actually have that happen where they missed canceling my autoship, but I called them on the error, and they were good about it, credited my account--and I got to keep the products!

Everyone will be pleased to know that Zone is, in fact, updating our Web Site architecture and web based shopping experience.

For the past several months we have been developing the new solution using the latest technologies and aligning the new e-commerce platform with the "best of breed" offerings that many of you are used to seeing.

Our intention is to help empower our customers with self service capabilities and a far more rich and aesthetically pleasing online experience.

Customers will soon have the capabilities to:

    - View their past transaction history
    - Change the frequency of their existing autoship order
    - Change the item qty's on custom kits

As with any large scale technical project there has been challenges but we are planning to deploy the new site before the end October.

I'll keep everyone up to date.

Seems like I recall that there used to be a way to do this, just a few years ago, and then it disappeared.  Hope it works this time!
