Hello everybody!
I just came across Glycemic Index for Broccoli, which is 0 (zero)... the same as Glycemic Load for this food...
So, I was wondering - does that mean we can eat more than the usual recommended 2 cups as 1 block of carbs? Let's say for a meal I want to have 3 cups of them instead 2. But I want to stick 1 Block Protein and 1 Block Fat only.
Do I need to increase the Protein and Fat amount with half Block each, just to stay in the Zone? Or am I gonna be fine and still in the Zone if GI and GL is 0?
That makes me very confused...
Thank you in advance for every one who give some suggestion!
PS. Update: I just double checked and saw the GI for Broccoli was not 0 but 10. I must have been looking some wrong information before.
But my question still remains

Can low GI foods as green veggies make harm if we take a little bit more of them than the recommended ratio of 40:30:30?
