    I noticed in the zone block guide that 1/2 tsp is one block (or 3 g) of fat.  When I calculated off the bag of my raw, chopped walnuts, I figured 1.8 tsp is 3 g fat.  Also, every other source I've looked at agrees with my calculation.  How can there be such a difference?  Seems like a major discrepancy.  I chose to use 1 tsp with my snack.  What do you do?

    The 1/2 tsp is 1 block meaning 1.5 grams of Fat.
    For each block of Protein (7 grams) one needs 3 grams of fat which is 2 blocks.
    I looked up:
    Nuts, Walnuts, English: 2 tsp = 3.3 grams Fat
    Nuts, Walnuts, Black: 2 tsp = 3.1 grams Fat
    .
    So what you saw in the Zone Block guide must be a mistake.

    Lisa, something else to think about, walnuts are not one of the best Zone choices because of the amount of omega 6 fat they contain.  The best nuts to eat for the Zone diet are almonds and Macadamia nuts.
