Yes, you should eat your full protein (block) requirement daily. It's important to eat Zone balanced amounts of P, C and F each time you eat. For example, if you eat a 3 block meal, you'd eat 3 P plus 3C plus 3F all in the same meal. You would not eat 3 P and only some of the 3 C saving the rest for later. Note the 3 meal and 2 snack daily menu is a suggestion. You can split you blocks in other arrangements of balanced P, C, and F blocks throughout the day to suit your schedule, as long as you take care to stick to the Basic Zone Rules. These rules are found in the link I just mentioned above. For 12 blocks daily, you could stick to the 2 meal 2 snack menu and increase to a 4 block breakfast to get the 12th block in (4/3/1/3/1) or you could eat 3 snacks (3/1/3/1/3/1), or even have 6 smaller meals throughout the day (2/2/2/2/2/2) . If you exercise first thing in the morning when you wake up you could do this 1/3/3/1/3/1. It’s very flexible, as long as you keep you balance and stick with those rules.
