Salad on a stick...good one, ha!
I heard about that fried butter ball recently, too. "Craz E" is right. I understand that glazed donut burger was introduced at The Big E last year http://www.thebige.com/fair/index.asp. I read in The Hartford Courant this week that this genre of food is younger male adults and people in general who want to flaunt it in the faces of “the food police". At first glance you'd think that but for the potential for disease and the deplorable eating habits these foods promote, they would seem relatively harmless otherwise, just part of a fun time at the fair, but just stop and consider, for a minute, the less obvious ramifications of the inflammation caused by these poor eating habits, the other "ills" of the world that people don't associate with diet, things such as the financial state of today's health care system, things like violence, war, etc. It’s something to think about. It’s crossed my mind what role, if any, diet might have played in the deaths of those 9 people who were killed at work in CT, by a coworker, yesterday morning, just 5 miles from where I live.
One thing I know for sure is I won't be buying any fried butter balls or Craz E Burgers or any of that stuff.
