Zone Blocks and CrossFit Blocks not equal

    Example: Broccoli Zone = 3 cups x 3 = 9 cups (no way can I eat anywhere near this).

    CrossFit Broccoli = 1.25 cups x 3 = 3 3/4 cups (Which would fit the 2 closed fists hand-eye theory closer)

    It seems that the CrossFit amounts are much closer to the amount I can actually eat.

    I wanted to combine the 2 lists, and alpha all the carbs, with a column for Good/Bad (shorter than Favorable/Unfavorable) and each list has items that the other is missing. But then I realized the lists that were on both were not always the same.

    Anyone want to comment on this.
    I am on 11 zone blocks a day, and this is my first week.

    It's not expected the a person whould choose to eat all their carbohydrates from brocolli inone meal. Most people mix and match various favorable carbohydreats of differenf volumes in the same meal. This can greatly reduce the volume of carbohydrate foods in the meal.     Here's my new carb "salad".

    1/2 tomato 1/4 carb
    1/4 cup carrots 1/4 carb
    1/4 cup peppers 1/4 carb
    1/4 cup beans 1 carb
    1/8 cup hummus 1/2 carb

    I use a slight amount of dressing and my protein. So good! I don't even bother with the lettuce anymore.
