I just received my order of zonefast food. Im really relieved that I now have some more variety to my diet. I know that the breads and pastas are balanced but do they raised insulin at all? or faster than not having any bread or pasta in my diet? For the past month the only carbs I have been eating are ones from dairy, beans, & vegetables. I don't hesitant about eating much zone bread/pasta in fear of maintaining water weight or getting fatter.

No worries alex. They work great. I had some hesitaiton too when my first ZoneFast food order arrived last year, especially because I'm extremely sensitive to the carbohyrate I eat. I feel better now than I did during the first 15 years I spent in the Zone eating classic Zone meals, and to my surprise I've become even leaner since I've been doing the ZoneFast 1-2-3 plan.  Let us know how you like the food.

I find actually that the Zone pasta sold from Sears labs is one of the easiest, best lasting Zone foods I've come across. They're really figured something out in how they make it, because it tastes great, and still delivers perfect Zone-goodness each time I eat it.

hey Molly, i guess the big question is if you're still progressing. Ideally, any zoner would one day transition completely to normalized food preperations with continued maintenance of current lean body mass.

The Zonefast food program was something I got into close to a month ago to really jumpstart a major weight loss period in my life; I expect to be on the program, either 100% or supplemently until the end of the year and afterwards, likely maintain some stock inventory of certain items that I've grown most fondly of, such as Peanut Butter Chip Cookies for snacks & Peanut Butter Granola for Breakfast. The Multigrain Pizza Crusts are excellent as well for dinner, as is the Orzo & Pasta. Many of the breads, bagels & rolls are good, don't get me wrong, but later after I'm done with my major life changing Zone weight loss period, hopefully within a year or before I turn 33, I'll revert to ordering only those staples that my family & I really enjoy using in our daily zone life.

You could start by considering some of the individual snack/meal options. I'd recommend the pizza crust and one of the available granola's to start, they make breakfast & dinner a snap, and both come in 5 packs. If you like it alot, you may then consider the full ZoneFast 1-2-3 program for 2 weeks of supply. Currently I'm on a custom program, and it's nice, because each Monday, I call the nice people and change it up ever so slightly, because I sometimes tire of one thing and want to try another. I really like the Bagels for Lunch and all the food, I've even gotten to make myself quite a few great grilled cheese sandwiches with their zone white bread slices... heavenly divine!
