    In the evening, I love to have a big cup of chai tea, loaded with cinnamon and coffee creamer from Whole Foods (365 brand). I love this creamer and load in onto my tea. The creamer had 1 gram of sugar/tsp (though natural) I still want to find another solution (without sugar), since I use so much of it!

    Thanks for any suggestions.

    maureen, either reduced fat milk or soy milk would work. They both usually contain Zone balanced amounts of P, and F. If the amount you use is significant consider it part of your daily protein/block requirement, other wise no need to even count it.

    Thanks Sue for your suggestion. My problem is, however, that I like the "poweriness" of the creamer. I have tried powered fat free milk but it doesn't work. I have started to add protein powder to it so it's not pure empty calories. But the protein powder has sugar in it too! I am at a loss...

    Interesting...I've never tried protein powder in tea, but if you liked it you could try a protien powder without sweeteners.

    Here's one: Jarrow Formulas 100% Natural Whey Protein Unflavored -- 2 lbs
    Carbohydrates = 2 mg = .002 grams!
    Sugars = 1 gram - and that is for a full scoop which equals 3 servings of Protein.
    There is a Vanilla flavored; however, I like the plain.
    .
    Whey Advantages 100% Natural Nothing artificial: No artificial flavors, sweeteners or colors.
    .
    .
    Also: NSI Whey Iso Protein Isolate Vanilla -- 3 lbs
    1 Scoop = 7 g protein = only 1/3 g Carbs , BUT = 0 Sugars.
    .
    Both available from VitaCost
