I've been eating Chobani yogurt for a bit now, and some of the flavors have no fat. So for those, I've been eating 4 blocks of fat (24 peanuts) with the 2 blocks of protein and carbs in the yogurt.

My question is, there is one flavor that I like to eat that contains 3g fat (14g protein, 19g carb, 1g dietary fiber). How many fat blocks should I be eating in peanuts? I usually eat 2 blocks of peanuts with this particular kind. Is that too much?

    Thanks!

Jen, that's perfect. With the block system it is assumed there will be about 1.5 grams of fat "hidden" in each 7 gram protein block. The product you asked about contains 2 C blocks, and 2 P blocks that each contain 1.5 grams fat. All it needs is another 2 blocks of added monounsaturated fat (12 peanuts) to be Zone balanced (2P, 2C, 2F).

A tip, look closely at the types ofcarbohydrates added to the flavored varities, to make sure they're Zone friendly ingredients.
